![]() The 10k message limit was never going to be a problem for us due to the low volume of messages, in about 2 years we've used 1.9K messages. Slack has become a way to keep people in the know, and to have faster, more collaborative conversations than email would offer. As a small business, we've always communicated primarily by small chats between two people which then disseminates, but where we're now a little bigger and have one person mostly working from home, and quite a few people who work odd hours, it sometimes means that some people are out of the loop. Most people don't actually have anything to say, but it just allows them to stay in the loop. We're encouraging people to post general updates and info on there, and set up channels for different areas. I set up Slack for a particular project for the production team to chat more seamlessly with the designer, it went really well.Īfter a lot of pushing, we've finally got most of the company on board.
